Aloha, my wife, Lori, and I, always are looking forward to sharing smiles together at New Hope East Hawaii. We are part of First Impression Ministry who will welcome you along with rotating volunteers, when it comes to parking, directions, and where the complimentary food and beverages are. Each morning, before I leave my house, my favorite scripture I will ask the Lord is, “Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.” Thank you all for being a part of my answered prayers.

Aloha! My name is James Arquitola. I am blessed to be the husband of Jennifer Arquitola and father to my four children, Josiah, Janniah, Genesis and Justin.
I am truly blessed and honored to serve alongside a powerful band of bothers as the Men’s Ministry leader and am grateful for the opportunity to also share the word, the truth and the life of our Lord as a speaker at New Hope East Hawai’i.
Whether it be fishing or baptizing I try my best to get to the ocean whenever I can.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. – James 1:2-4

Johanna Ma'e, retired back in 2020. I have one daughter that resides on Oahu with her husband and 4 grandchildren. I moved from Oahu and built my life on Hawai'l Island since 1992, that is when my biblical journey began at New Hope Kupulau. New Hope East Hawali became my home church from the beginning. In December 2023, I returned to NHEH and with Jesus' blessing, He allowed me to oversee the Women's Ministry since 2025.

Hi there, my name is Jennifer “Jenn” Arquitola. For the last 15 years I have been blessed with the honor of being the wife of an amazing fisherman turned Fisher of Men, James Arquitola. Together we share a blended family of 4 children, an array of farm animals and pets and more than that a love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Serving as both a Youth Director and Sermon Speaker at New Hope East Hawai’i, envelopes my passion to create a safe, welcoming and Christ-centered environment, promoting discipleship and spiritual growth for all ages. 
In my free time I like to spend time with my family, fish, sew, do anything really.
